Meet Kenny Levine, LCSW
The most important tool I bring to work every day is my empathy.
I’m here to help you rediscover joy, build resilience, and deepen the connections that matter most.
Rebuilding relationships, starting with you.
Are you feeling isolated, and exhausted by the challenges in your relationships?
Are you stuck in endless conflict with your partner, feeling unheard and disconnected?
Has co-parenting become a constant source of tension, leaving you worried about its impact on your kids?
Are you questioning whether certain relationships—romantic, familial, or professional—can ever truly improve?
Do you feel like you’re carrying the weight of these struggles alone, unsure of how to move forward?
Whatever brought you here, I want you to know this: you don’t have to navigate these challenges alone.
For over 25 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals, couples, and co-parents untangle complex relationship dynamics and rediscover healthier ways of connecting. I know how painful it is when communication breaks down or trust feels shattered. But I also know that healing is possible, and I’m here to walk that journey with you.
Why You Can Trust Me to Help
Therapy is more than my profession—it’s my calling. My career began at an outstanding community mental health clinic in Chapel Hill, NC, where I gained a strong foundation in evidence-based care under exceptional training and supervision. Since opening my private practice in 2003, I’ve supported countless clients through life’s most challenging moments, from the strain of high-conflict divorce to the complexities of co-parenting and the intricacies of personal growth.
What sets me apart isn’t just my decades of experience or the advanced training I’ve completed in methods like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and the Gottman Method. It’s the way I prioritize relationships—starting with the one we build together in therapy.
What It’s Like to Work with Me
From the moment we begin, I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your struggles and strengths with honesty and courage. I believe the relationship we build is more than just a working partnership—it’s a microcosm of all the relationships in your life. Together, we’ll identify patterns that are holding you back and practice new, healthier ways of relating that you can take into your most important relationships.
Our work will feel connected and collaborative, grounded in trust, openness, and appropriate boundaries. I’ll meet you where you are, offering both the compassion you need and the structure that helps foster real change. Whether we’re unpacking the roots of your pain, building communication skills, or exploring new ways to set boundaries, you’ll always feel seen, heard, and supported.
Your Next Chapter Starts Here
Healing isn’t just about fixing what feels broken; it’s about finding the resilience and clarity to build the relationships—and the life—you want. It’s about stepping into a future where you feel confident and connected, whether that’s with your partner, your colleagues, or yourself.
If you’re ready to take that step, I’m here to help. Together, we’ll create a plan that aligns with your goals and empowers you to make meaningful, lasting changes. Because you deserve relationships that nourish and support you, starting with the one we’ll build together.

My Approach
-
The mindfulness-based skills of DBT can help you more effectively manage intense emotions, cope with challenging situations, and improve your relationships.
-
CBT helps individuals and couples identify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to their struggles. By replacing these with healthier, more constructive approaches, CBT empowers you to improve communication, manage emotions, and create meaningful change in your life and relationships.
-
Gottman Method Couples Therapy helps partners strengthen their relationship by building deeper emotional connection, improving communication, and managing conflict effectively. Using research-based techniques, this approach fosters trust, intimacy, and a strong foundation for lasting partnership.
