Words can’t describe what you’ve been through.

Sometimes you wondered how you could even keep going. Now the marriage is over, and you’re mired in high-conflict divorce. You want to move on, but old wounds keep getting ripped back open.

The worst part is fearing for your children. You know what they’ve already been through, and are worried they’ll be further traumatized by the situation with your ex. You may even fear that you’ll lose them, or that they’ll lose you. Everything you do to try to help them seems to get twisted against you.

Your attorney is there for legal advice but can’t give you the emotional support you need. Your court-involved therapist and Parenting Coordinator seem to create more problems than they solve. How on earth are you supposed to get through this?

That’s where I come in.

Now is the time to reclaim your life.

When you are panicked, frustrated, angry, and confused, it’s tough to make sense of things. High-conflict divorce leaves you traumatized and vulnerable. You don’t want to max out your friends and family with the ugly details of what you’re going though. You need someone experienced, who understands the family courts, and who can give you solid, unbiased feedback.

I am here to help you now, in this moment, when you need it most. I can’t make this process easy, but I can help you understand it— and help you find the most effective way to get through it. I can provide the emotional support and skills training you need to endure what often seems unbearable. With the right tools, you can effectively manage interactions with your Parenting Coordinator, reunification therapist, or custody evaluator.

I can help you:

  • make sense of what you are experiencing during your divorce

  • learn skills to manage emotional distress

  • interact more effectively with all the professionals involved in your case (attorneys, custody evaluators, parenting coordinators, court involved therapists)

  • center wise parenting choices

I understand how the mental health and legal systems interact in Family Court, particularly in cases involving resist/refuse custody dynamics and interpersonal violence. My insights and experience can help you manage what’s coming your way, and plan your next steps wisely.

Coaching is not the same as therapy. Most mental health professionals aren’t trained in the complexities of Family Court, and avoid taking on court-involved cases. I draw on my 20 years of experience as an individual and couples therapist, my training as a court-appointed Parenting Coordinator, as well as my own life lessons around divorce to help you.

I am here for you, right here and right now. You don’t have to be alone.
